“My Antarctica” is a rocking hockey game between a young Buffalo goalie and his team of penguin birds, called the Arctic Burrs, who are engaged in a game against the Buffalo Sabres team with Martin Biron in net. It was tricky to say the least, writing in verse and including all the names of the Sabres team, but I did rhyme it! I earned some high school atta-girls.

This book gave birth to the name Artica Burr via a street hockey team I sponsored.

This tale moves from Buffalo, NY, to France, where live-or-die decisions must be made. The hopes and dreams of a young new bride after a whirlwind courtship begin to ebb away on her wedding night. Certain that the failure within the relationship must somehow be her fault, she seeks to repair the unknown wrong she has committed.

Due to her abrupt lack of employment and her husband’s refusal to help with living expenses, she signs on to a drug trial for women, which includes high compensation and a week’s trip to France. Being rather shy, she meets an outgoing co-participant who is also accepted for the drug trial. The two become friends prior to their departure.

The fact that she is being manipulated into a plot and good against evil is foreign territory, only revealed after she discovers she may never return from France to her home country. Desperation soon simmers into a realization that both women must reach inside themselves and do the unthinkable in order to survive.

This book is available in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle at Amazon and other bookstores. Once again, Amazon failed me. The Kindle is not listed on the same page as the other two versions, and the “Read Sample” is only shown on the Kindle page, which requires a separate query. The cover on this book needs further finishing touches. It is not as shown. Two-thirds of this book is already written, but a number of subplots for various characters keep persistently bubbling up. The volume of action packed into this book has made it seemingly impossible to sever part into a second volume. It is a humorous, sometimes dark tale about the ancient gods of Mesopotamia and their efforts to possess select living individuals intermittently, in order to return to earth and rectify the mess and quarrels they left behind.

I gave my history-loving husband the leading role because he loved both history and taking insane risks. It begins with his near-death accident at a polo match and leads on to a number of Sumerians emerging to join in a quest both for and against the age-old Lord Enki and his arch-rival half-brother Enlil. I tossed in a dragon and a few angels for good measure.

It truly is a super creative tale. Hang on, I am getting there.

This is a fun tale contrived about thirteen California cats who regularly gather for chats just like housewives who coffee cloch. Topics cover their personal adventures and points of view while trying to advise Monty concerning his new diet dilemma, and his frustration dealing with his human family. Once Monty finally decides to seriously improve his conduct, the man in Monty’s family tosses a dynamite situation at Monty.

This tale begins in Buffalo, NY, and moves on to Niagara Falls. It spins beyond the edge of Canada to an alien oasis limited only by my imagination. It is available at bookstores and on Amazon in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle formats, with the Read Sample pages only available on the Kindle version. Frankly, the person who generated the Read Sample page layout needs a new occupation. However, there is enough text for you to examine the writing style. There are some Interesting characters within this tale. When shapeshifters infiltrate the neighborhood and the government relentlessly restricts the citizens of New Amerika, a select group of neighbors are pushed to the wire. They must stay and resign themselves to a bitter fate or set out to carve their destiny in hopes of safety and survival. There is no time to build total trust. There are unknown secrets the neighbors must reveal to gain the trust needed to venture forward together with an escape plan. Will their best tool and trusted ally of defense prove to be their Irish Wolfhound enhanced to a Candroid status, or a cloned father raised by his son? Can love be found in the midst of unusual circumstances and a breathless escape?
