Player Health Tips

Above All H2O
Water water everytime.  More than a sip to drink.  Practice or a game.  Drink water before and as needed during play.  Keep hydrated.  Groin pulls can happen and there is no excuse to be lazy about drinking water and plenty of time for regrets if you did not hydrate and get one.  Sports drinks are best to support you after practice or play.

About Equipment - Keep it clean
With ugly things like Mrsa traveling schools etc.  Spraying and wiping down equipment is very important.  The spray or soap and water has to sit at least 3 minutes before wiping off, otherwise it has no time to kill germs!  Showering after every practice and game day is another must.

Shock Doctor
The cleaning bag and machine saw me through now for several winter seasons as well as tournaments.  A bargain for the little money. (Under $200) No more damp equipment.  Cuts the smell and does some sanitation too.  I do still spray because you just cannot kill enough when it comes to germs.

Chiropractic
A spinal allignment checkup can be very beneficial for any sports player especially those who participate in contact sports.  Keeping your spine in allignment effects your performance, and your all over picture of health.  For a goalie who gets run in the net Chiropractic frequent flyer visits can be needed to fix the net results.
